California Hand and Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to provide thoughtful personalized care to and empower our patients to heal and thrive. The environment in the Clinics is dynamic and fast-paced, so good verbal and written communication are essential. Specialty areas include Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Hand therapy, Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, fall prevention, and workplace injuries. We promote patient well-being by restoring function, reducing pain, educating and strengthening in order to prevent injury. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality rehabilitation and treatment to patients varying from seniors to athletes
  • Perform evaluations and progress reports, deviseand implement appropriate Plan of Care, create skilled exercise programs, monitor progress,adjust treatment plan as necessary and perform planned discharges
  • Document Patient progress according to APTA Practice and required California standards
  • Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes

  • +1 years' work experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
  • Spanish speaking preferred
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification is a plus
  • Interest in Hand Therapy or becoming a Certified Hand Therapist is a plus

Requirements

  • Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited Physical Therapy curriculum or Certification in Physical Therapy
  • Valid, current California License to practice Physical Therapy
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to coordinate care with coworkers
  • Computer proficiency
